Poor quality product

Had to send this item back once after about 5 uses and the replacement they sent broke after only a few uses. Avoid this substitute product.

Pros
  • Color: Black
Cons
  • thin

Replaces broken analog joystick

This part successfully replaced a broken analog stick on my PSP 2000. It took me a few tries to get everything set up correctly in the unit, but it works now. TIP - On the original analog stick, you must remove the small piece of transparent rubber from the old joystick and insert it into the new one in order for the pins to input the movement correctly! The part is very small and can easily be lost. Therefore, during the repair, remove it from your old joystick and put it on a new one.

Pros
  • Brand new.
Cons
  • boring packaging

Good replacement with a big flaw

*Important flaw at the bottom of the review, please read this if you want to buy* The item arrived quickly, looked new or on at least very well all the time. After replacing it in the PSP version of Darth Vader, I found that nobody claimed it had some kind of joycon drift/damage that caused the menus to move uncontrollably. After playing around with this and a few YouTube videos I replaced and fixed it so it finally worked fine. on the PSP. The part goes on the copper pins you see in the image…

Pros
  • Package Includes: 1X Thumb Joystick
Cons
  • Could have chosen a newer model
