Worked great and only $240 cheaper than the store

The hardest part was screwing it down with a few tries, but it fits perfectly and works great. Since I did the very easy job myself, I save so much money. FYI, I still had to go to my neighbor's and borrow a wrench big enough to fit around. There was nothing in my toolbox that even rivaled my half-moon wrenches.

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons

Before: No 4WD or 4Low Light so no lockers so Jeep 'regularcon'. After: Everything works, lights, lockers, low. The graduated rheostat signals sent the jeep happy. I reused the o-ring as the test returned a good if not good o-ring for you, take it to the parts store and get the correct one, don't buy the $MoPar $Oring.

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • I will keep silent

Keep it Mopar and look for videos. Easy DIY

The problem was that the gauges on the dashboard were not showing properly. Lighting IOW "part time” in 2WD, no light in 4-high or 4-low. The transfer case works as expected. Now all ads show correctly. At first glance, this is an intimidating fix, but many videos online can help you with it. I decided to remove the center console route. It was pretty easy and I bet you still need to do some cleaning in there. Incidentally, you will need a deep 1-1/2" socket for removal and installation.

Pros
  • Very good value for money
Cons
  • Expensive

Switch Jeep 241OR TCase

Installed on my 2003 Rubicon Tcase 241OR RockTrack. You will need a 1 1/2" socket on a 3/4" ratchet to remove the old and install the new after disconnecting the harness connector at the top of the switch sensor. Without a body lift (I have one) it's harder. This happened after I installed the clutch, so I thought the wiring harnesses were pinched, checked them all and concluded that the switch was somehow gathering dust when removing and installing it. My symptoms were the 4WD light was off…

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • Empty
