Ideal for engine cooling and air conditioning

I have a 2014 Ford Flex. The dual climate control no longer worked properly. My air conditioner was on the driver's side and hot air was blowing on the passenger side. Took a little time to install but saved me hundreds of dollars at the dealer.

Pros
  • Best in class
Cons
  • Available in white only

Perfect for condenser fan

This product is very easy to install. Push the sides of the glove box, the glove box folds down, the detail can be seen immediately. This part fit perfectly and was very easy to assemble. So far there have been no problems with this part. It might cost a little more than some, but it was worth it. I would recommend it.

Ford Flex 2011 Clicking noise behind the dashboard

I heard this clicking noise behind the dashboard every time I started the car. I googled and this is a simple solution: drop the glove box lid and unscrew the two screws, remove the wire and install this part the same way. I have a 2011 Ford Flex and this OEM part works great. Took me about 15 minutes!

Pros
  • Delivery was very fast
Cons
  • Faulty

Exact replacement of the lens hood door motor for Flex 2011

The lens hood motor is original. Just behind the glove box in a 2011 Flex. Literally more time was spent removing the junk and putting it back in the glove box than replacing the part. Open the glove box, loosen the slow release skewer, press on the sides of the glove box to loosen the stops, the plug and the 2 screws and you're done! Install in reverse order.

Pros
  • Sea of positive emotions
Cons
  • Something different

Works great on my 2009 Ford Flex Just behind the glove box

Works great on my 2009 Ford Flex for easy driving just behind the glove box. I ordered this using the Ford part number to get a genuine Ford part and it was exactly the same as the Motorcraft YH1779 (it even said so on the box). So save a few bucks and order the YH1779 directly. The exchange takes about 5 minutes.

Pros
  • Constant test results
Cons
  • Requires outlet

Fixed an annoying clicking noise coming from the glove box on a 2008-9 Mercury Sable. It's really easy to fix. Lower the glove box all the way down and to the side. It's a small white box right in front of you. Use an 8mm socket on two screws. Unplug the old, plug in the new. Put the screws back in, easy as pie. Literally a 5 minute fix. Even a complete novice. Once you understand how a socket wrench works, you're good to go.

Pros
  • 1 year trial
Cons
  • Lightly dented

2014 Ford Flex: Condenser Fan

This part fits my 2014 Ford Flex perfectly. I had to install it on the passenger side to the left of the glove box. It wasn't easy to get to the old one to take it off or put the new one in, but it worked right after putting it in place. Make sure you have a short ratcheting tool to remove and reinstall the rear screw. I watched a few youtube videos and I'm not a mechanic so the whole process took me about 2 hours of frustration and hassle but it saved me so much money I think it was worth it.

  • Decent Performance

Extremely easy to install!

This is the second time the drive has failed in my 2011 Ford Flex. The first time I took it to my mechanic it cost a little over $100. Three years later it happened again. This time I did a little research on YouTube and found a video showing how to fix the problem in 5 minutes. I am a 54 year old female who has never repaired anything on a car. If I can replace it, anyone can πŸ˜€ I paid $10 less for this part at Revain than I would have paid at Ford. My only complaint is that the first time…

Save money on engine cooling and air conditioning

Saved me a lot of money. We had problems with the heater on our f150 (2011) which was not working properly, it only warmed up after driving for a while. Then after changing the battery we had this loud clicking behind the dash, a quick web search pointed to the faucet door trigger as the culprit, I unplugged the cord from the old one and the clicking stopped. After checking it out, I ordered this one and replaced it in about 30 minutes! No more clicking and the thermostat works again! I've read

Pros
  • Quality construction

  • Little repairability
