should have known better. It was DOA

Tried Dorman first, should have known better. It was DOA. This factory original is just what I needed. Equinox 2015 with LEA 2.4

OEM replacement for PVC valves, breathers and accessories

OEM replacement and precise fit. correct cable connections. Codes from previous solenoids were gone and didn't need to be cleared. Vehicle: 2009 Pontiac G6 2.4L

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Minor issues

Genuine GM Filter

In my personal experience, GM Ecotecs require these actuators to be replaced about every 90,000 miles or so no matter how clean you keep your oil. Replaced mine before they failed. You can't go wrong with genuine GM parts.

Pros
  • Good Value
Cons
  • Secret

Excluded Code for PCV Valves, Breathers and Accessories

My Cobalt SS gave out the code for the camshaft position actuator solenoid for the exhaust. Very easy to replace so I did both. I chose OEM, albeit twice the price. I'll never know if aftermarket parts will work, but I have no regrets.

Pros
  • Cool Product

It was just what I needed

Bought for my girlfriend's 2012 Chevy Equinox. I found a video on YouTube that explains how to replace it. Gathered the necessary tools and let my friend do all the work. I just needed help peeling off the old one. Swapped the car and started it. The error code is no longer present. On time delivery. Faster and a lot cheaper than taking it to the store.

Pros
  • Excellent construction
Cons
  • Some small things

High quality OEM spare part at the best price!

A customer came in with an engine management gauge and asked for this part. Saved a few bucks compared to buying from a dealer and got the same part. It arrived quickly and without damage. Definitely recommended if your car is giving out CMP codes. Note. At the same time I swapped the camshaft positioner magnets 12655420 and 12655421.

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • Not the best

Improved idle and handling.

At my wife's equinox in 2013 I changed the intake and exhaust drives. The car has approximately 77,000 miles on the odometer and suffers from rough idling and poor fuel mileage. A few tanks of Tehron, new spark plugs and tank cleaning did not help. Driveability, idling and mileage improved after replacing the actuators. The actuators must be weakened, but not enough to start the CEL.

Pros
  • Weight
Cons
  • I'll write later

It worked great! Best in PCV Valves, Breathers & Accessories

My wife's 2012 Malibu burned for over a year and performed poorly (shame on me). Just in case, I went with GM solenoids. After replacing everything the lights went out and I could feel the difference. The hardest part was finding the side cover screw, but other than that it's a VERY easy task. It's been two months so far so good. By the way, I changed both the exhaust and the intake. Now to wheel bearings and hubs 😞

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • Unbelievable price

OEM parts at a reduced price!

This exact part (literally right down to the part number) is $59.99 plus tax from Advance Auto and Autozone. While there were some OEM's here that cost $40.00 (still $20.00 cheaper than the parts store), I originally used an aftermarket "kit" that included both the variable valve timing solenoid and the exhaust included (parts look exactly the same except they have different electrical connections). which cost me about $23 a pair (which I found amazing considering a new kit was supposed to cost

Pros
  • Very good value
Cons
  • Quality
