It works for my Fuji XT100

It works as advertised. I was hoping this would help with camera overheating issues, but it didn't help. This is strictly a camera sensor issue and I don't think it can be resolved. But this product is pretty cool for the price!

Allows using my XT-3 as a 1080p60 webcam!

This little device saves lives. I'm using my XT-3 as a 1080p60 webcam and the USB power isn't enough to get it working. This little power connector was very strong. The cables are long enough to run through my standing desk. Love it.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • Expensive insurance

Very poor build quality

I would like to try it, but unfortunately: The supplied power cable does not fit in the power supply box. It seems so, but the diameter of the nests is too small for the pins. I could probably pick him up. big effort - something rattles and wobbles in the power supply box. I don't think it's a good idea to plug it in if there's a piece of metal rattling around!

  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • Hard to say

Dummy battery too small

As already mentioned, the dummy battery does not fit properly on the battery contacts. On my X-T3 it mostly works - sometimes you have to manually press it with your fingers. Doesn't work at all on my X-S10. The dummy battery must be larger so that it can make contact. Not sure if there is a Fuji design issue here. I haven't found a battery layout that works reliably yet.

Avoid this and get another one.

The dummy battery is not long enough to stay in place and make contact with the camera contacts. You have to physically hold it so that it turns on the camera, when you let go of the camera it turns off. Unfortunately, this product seems to have been released in a hurry and not well tested. Since Fuji batteries are mostly generic, I assume others will have the same problem. I am an x-pro2 user. I have to return it for something else as I had to tape it down to keep it in place and I didn't pay…

Pros
  • Heavy Duty
Cons
  • Almost OK

Reliable live streaming solutions with my Fuji X100F

I have a small studio in my basement for live performances that I occasionally broadcast over Facebook Live. I have 2 cameras Canon dSLR and Fuji X100F. I didn't want to invest in a Go-Pro or any other solution as I already had cameras that could be used for video. I needed a continuous power supply solution for them and gave Gonine a try. I have to say I was very impressed and this solution worked great. The device arrived, packaged much better than I could have imagined and worked for two and

Works as advertised with X-Pro2

These types of products always seem patchy, but this is actually a use case that Fuji seems to have planned. You get a laptop-style power adapter and a barrel-shaped dummy battery. My camera has a rubber plug to let the cable out but keep the battery compartment closed. It all seems very safe and official. On the display, the battery indicator has moved too far, confirming the fact that you have UNLIMITED PERMISSIONS. I originally bought it for use with webcam software, but I suspect this power

Cons
  • Questionable purchase for the elderly

Great when using Fuji as a webcam

I suspect the USB ports on my PC do not provide enough power to prevent the battery and my Fuji XT3 from draining when used as a webcam. It was just a ticket, there is a plastic connector on the XT3 to allow the cable from this unit to come out of the battery compartment and the door to be closed. Fuji used to sell something like this as an accessory, but now a third-party market can fill that need. This device does a great job allowing you to video confer with the XT3 as a webcam all day long.

The dummy battery makes bad contact with the Fuji XT3

The dummy battery (the "battery" part of this article) is slightly smaller than the Fuji XT3 battery. It's less than a millimeter shorter, but short enough to keep the metal strips on the breadboard battery out of contact with the camera at times. If the camera is used as a zoom webcam, for example, a slight collision with the tripod often leads to the loss of contact with the dummy battery and the camera switching off. I can tell it's a contact issue because if I push an empty battery further…
