I have a full size truck, white top and need to park under a pecan tree. Pieces of wood stained my hood and cab roof. This tarp is the perfect size to cover the entire area. I use elastic cords to hold them in place. Now my work truck is clean and ready to go every morning. I've only been waiting a month or so to see how it fares in the Texas sun. Also see if the metal bushings are rusting, but so far so good.

I've just started using one of these so I don't know anything about "waterproof, durable or easy to fold". I use a lot of tarps to tidy up items like branches, leaves etc to bring to our caravan and get rid of so I hope they last a long time. although the need for drag will inevitably affect any tarpaulin. I recommend purchasing this tarp as a base for your tent, even if your tent is advertised as durable. There were many days when the tent was dry, but only because the bottom of the tarp was soaked with water. Easy to clean and very durable, it withstood a wide variety of weather and soil types (grass, less grass, gravel, direct dirt). I recommend this tarpaulin, but I also recommend that you have another person to help you fold it, otherwise you might find it difficult to travel alone.

These awnings are great. The contractors who worked in our home used a cheaper, thinner tarp that tore when walked on, leaking dust from the flagstone onto the carpeting. They are so strong that they are unlikely to break unless extreme force is applied. They have grommets so you can fasten or tie them. Do you know how thin 5 mil is? I didn't know until this tarp was delivered to my door. These tarps are literally paper thin. By the way, they are not "waterproof" as stated in the description. According to the packaging, they are "waterproof". I have no confidence that they will last long term. This is NOT the tried and tested heavy-duty tarp you find lying around in your dad's garage.
