Great for bike rollers

I have a recumbent trike with one wheel in the back. Placing two of these for the rear wheel makes a great replacement for an indoor exercise bike. Rotates smoothly and can withstand heavy weight.

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • unreliable

Ideal for unloading a table saw

Use one as an unloading roller for a belt-driven handyman table saw. I installed it on a small stand that attaches to the workbench and fits the saw body under the guard over the motor and belt. The roller is wide, heavy, moves easily.

Pros
  • Heavy duty construction
Cons
  • Without machine

Very durable and smooth. Large base plate required

The bearings turned smoothly and it was definitely tough. I placed them on either end of the compound miter saw. They work great for this application. The only complaint I have is that I feel the base flange should be wider to make it easier to use the standard socket and ratchet for assembly and disassembly. You need to use a ring spanner from above as there isn't enough clearance under the roll.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • No instructions
