Incredibly easy to install if you're not an idiot. To be honest, reading the reviews of people who had problems with it made me lose faith in humanity even more. It took me less than ten minutes with a socket wrench. As with literally everything on a Jeep, loosely thread all bolts in before tightening and tightening. If you can't figure it out, sell your Jeep and buy a Prius.

I was surprised at how strong it is once installed. Some of the bolts were difficult to tighten, probably just uneven machine threads on the bolts. NOTE: It will NOT interfere with the sun visor. Not a deal breaker for me. *update* Manipulation of the visor is not as important as it might seem at first glance, you can bend the visor and wiggle it. Don't let this discourage you from buying. Good product and I am delighted. My elderly parents like to use them to get into my jeep.

The rear grips fit perfectly, but the hardware is much less durable than stock. It feels like I'm shearing off the screws if I use them for anything more than just inserting my hand. The front handles are not installed as intended. The 1/4" vertical screws are too long for the hole they are designed to fit. Excellent value for money. They can easily cost over $70 on well-known Jeep brand websites. Notice the top screw hole. The grips aren't labeled for left or right side, but they should be. Excellent product; However, with a defective screw. This made it extremely difficult to install any of the handles. I tried using WD-40 and a wire brush to help the screw but it didn't work. The other screws were fine, allowing me to mount three of the four handles. As a buyer, please note that you can return an item with defective screws. They were easy enough to install once we figured them out. As other reviews have pointed out, it matters which is on the driver or passenger side. The included "instructions" lack information that would be helpful in advance rather than being learned on the fly. SUPER easy to install. You literally unscrew 4 bolts with a 13mm head, lay out new parts with short bolts/spacers on top and long ones on the side, pay attention to the knobs as they hang on the side of the car, and assemble. TIPS: 1) Seal the threads of the new bolts by threading them in and out before installing.
