Excellent replacement wiring harness

Very good product that does what it is supposed to do. Makes installation in the trailer frame a little more difficult, but that's not due to the wiring harnesses. I used the old wire to thread the new wires of the matching color.

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • Has problems

This is perfect for trailer conversions.

This harness is a great way to rewire a trailer. It is 35 feet long and divided into right and left sides. There is no separation of wires to power each side light. No cross wire feed required. I reassembled a 16 foot boat trailer in about an hour. They connected to the headlights and worked right out of the box. Would recommend to anyone looking to convert a trailer.

Finally found suspension over 25ft

After searching the academy, walmart and parts stores. Decided to look on Amazon. My boat is 21 feet long so my trailer is about 25 feet long. I'm tired of buying 21ft academy straps and lengthening them. Saltwater simply devours the compounds. I just didn't have enough wiring for a full connection. But that should help. Perfect price!

Easy Installation

Very easy to install. I used the trailer wire clamps that Revain also sells. I found it much easier to connect the wire through the clamps before attaching the clamps to the trailer. I've also used butt connectors where the solder and heat shrink tubing are already combined. Just cut the wires, stick them into the butt connector, and then blast it all with a heat gun until the solder melts and melts the wires. Then use the heat gun to further shrink the attached tubing to create a watertightโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Wishbone design allows 2 brown wires to be routed to each taillight.
Cons
  • Empty

Ideal for wiring trailer lights.

If you need to hook up a trailer this is the harness you need. The wire is all copper and works very well to connect my trailer lights to my truck when I pull on it. With 30 feet of wire, there should be enough wire for almost any size trailer, and the wires should stay put. The 4 prong end is molded rubber and I would assume the prongs are electroplated copper but I am not 100% sure if they are copper but I can say that this connector and cord set for worked very well for me on my workโ€ฆ

Nice trailer! in towing products and winches

Very impressed. I had problems with seat belts working properly on my truck. The light in my caravan stopped working. I have tried several magnetic towbars. I had to tilt them at the right angle to get all the lights to work. Not so with this trailer. It was just plug and play. I bought a few lights to try out before converting my trailer. I wanted to make sure I didn't have to use a braid. Glad to know I can use this without fiddling. I also like the fact that the wires are spliced which means

Pros
  • Wiring kit to service or replace the wiring of your trailer
Cons
  • Negative impression

The best way to hitch a trailer with 4 platforms

Honestly, this is the only way to hitch a trailer. The wiring harness consists of two brown (chasing) wires, so there is no need to splice the wire between the left and right sides. That means you can run the wires down the length of the trailer, one group on each side, connect to the taillights and you're done. I had a center chase port and used a position tap filled with dielectric grease. For the taillights I used heat shrink connectors and some dielectric grease just to be safe. Made ofโ€ฆ
