Most of the oval "rubber" eyecup on my first eyecup fell off while in my camera bag - wrote it off as an accident. And then the replacement that Revane sent me did the same.

2 of these broke with normal use. Another Revain model (Vello) sells for almost $20 but is thicker and more durable and spins just like this one. one than 2 cheaper and save time. Vello is a proven performer in my book.

Great little eyecup when it works. The problem with this is that I've already gone through 2 of these (and won't be buying the 3rd) because when the rubber flexes in your camera bag, it breaks too easily. The first time this happened I chalked it up to "well maybe I got a broken one" and since they weren't that expensive I just ordered a replacement. Now that it's happened twice, I'll just cut my losses.
