Falls right off: my feedback

This tape worked okay for me since I was using it in a spot where I could squish it and thus force it to stay put, but if I had just taped it up like normal I'm sure it would've fallen off within hours. Really bad adhesive

Pros
  • Energy Efficient
Cons
  • The adhesive on foam insulation tape may not be strong enough to hold up in humid or moist environments, causing it to peel or come loose

Worth ever penny! - my new review

Dealing with mold issues in the home, after lengthy & costly inspection process. Turns out bulk of the issues are the windows. Didn't expect this to do much, so I was genuinely surprised. It exceeded my expectations especially for cost and ease of installation. I highly recommend this product!

Pros
  • Sticks great on top of doors with gaps. Easy to use.
Cons
  • Doesn't stick well

Works very well. good for me

I needed to close a gap on the storm door before the summer heat. It really has helped keep drafts from entering the house and lets me have the light from the storm door in. I have a huge amount left over. Excellent price for value.

Pros
  • ‎White
Cons
  • The adhesive on foam insulation tape can leave a sticky residue if it needs to be removed or replaced

Use a hair dryer! best in my review

I put this on the door frame so when the exterior door closes the gap is much smaller. Just unroll it and cut it to length. Clean the surface with soap and water and let dry. Put it on. It won't stick unlessyou apply heat. I used a hair dryer and a small roller to get it to adhere. So far three days in with temps in the lower 30's at night its still sticking.

Pros
  • Adhesive is really good and works for many purposes on my boat
Cons
  • I had asked for medical tape, and this came. I returned it.

Found additional use

I purchased this to use on my garage wall to stop the car door marking the wall. The color of the tape is close to the same as on the wall.so its a good match. It has done a good gob to date. The tape is very firm and well made so I will be using it on my doors when needed.

Pros
  • ‎5 x 5 x 0.3 inches
Cons
  • The thickness of foam insulation tape may make it difficult to open and close doors and windows quietly, leading to noise complaints from neighbors or roommates

It is dense foam - my new review

Product description is correct when it states that it is a dense foam. Not easy to compress if covering a lot of surface. May work well between to hard surfaces with a gap that is uniform and no thinner then 50% of the thickness of the foam. Will find some use for it, but not against a textured ceiling.

Pros
  • Product worked fine. Delivery was fine.
Cons
  • Se despega facil

great for restoring electronic keyboard actions

I use this to replace the aged similar sponge pad under the fronts of keys on larger vintage Casio keyboards. It restores the soft padding and gets rid of Clack when depressing keys. Just right!

Pros
  • Easy to install and adheres well.
Cons
  • The thickness of the foam insulation tape may make it difficult to close doors and windows properly

Easy DIY insulation for Door & Windows

This tape is good for easy install. I am not sure how much energy it will save because i only installed it last week. However once installed its adhesion looks good and stayed intact.

Pros
  • FOAM INSULATION TAPE
Cons
  • The foam insulation tape may not be long enough to cover larger windows and doors, requiring multiple pieces and more effort to install

This tape has moderate adhesion to painted surfaces. This is good if you wish to remove it without blemishing the paint but a bit frustrating if you need it to adhere to a vertical surface without any mechanical hold. Works very well if "pinched" between two surfaces as it would be in a weather seal application on a door or window. I was using it as an expansion joint around the perimeter of a tiled floor project and had some problems with it staying attached to the wall before there were any…

Pros
  • MADE FOR OPTIMUM DURABILITY
Cons
  • Foam insulation tape may not be flexible enough to conform to irregular surfaces, leaving gaps and air leaks

Good Foam Tape in my review

The only thing I didn't like is the yellow strip covering the adhesive is really too thin so when removing it is tearing. Foam insulation tape can be expensive to purchase and may not be worth the investment for some homeowners.

Doesn’t stick - my new review

Bought this to wrap an exposed edge of white panel board. Within a few hours, it began to unstick. Perhaps with no tension on it like on a flat surface, it might stay longer but I doubt it. Cheap and maybe worth a try but you should keep searching for a better alternative!

Pros
  • ‎1In x 3/4In
Cons
  • If not applied correctly, foam insulation tape can easily come undone and fall off, reducing its effectiveness

Window weather stripping

I needed the weather stripping to stop a breeze coming through a bathroom window. The product was promptly delivered and worked as advertised. I am very satisfied with this vendor.

Pros
  • Simple to use.
Cons
  • The adhesive on foam insulation tape may not provide enough hold, causing the tape to come loose and fall off over time

Not recommended good for me

This item did not last more than 20 minutes on my door frame. I tried to save a few dollars but in the end I paid more than double.

Pros
  • Effective Soundproofing: This product helps in reducing the external noise that penetrates through windows and doors, ensuring a peaceful sleep.
Cons
  • Foam insulation tape may not be effective at blocking out all types of noise, such as loud traffic or noisy neighbors

Super Weather Sealant

I love this product. Great sealant for just about anything. I sealed my portable air conditioner this past Summer and it kept the cold air inside. I highly recommend!

Pros
  • Used to secure sunscreen frames, for windows in an Arizona desert garage, performs well
Cons
  • Would have been great product if the adhesive stuck better. For that i threw it away.

Could be a bit more longer

Used for inner doors , was all good. Only one thing could be a bit longer incase of mistake or folds over. Thanks for attention.

Pros
  • HVAC
Cons
  • If applied too thickly, foam insulation tape can actually impede the opening and closing of doors and windows, making them difficult to use

Doesn’t Stay On. Buy something else.

Reinstalled our window a/c for the summer, and used this tape to seal around the gaps (on the inside). As another reviewer mentioned, this is very similar to the tape that came with the unit. Both the a/c and the window were clean and dry.The tape started coming lose within hours. Everyday it needs to be pushed into place. As soon as I can get something different, this stuff is going in the trash.

Pros
  • Ease of use
Cons
  • Very weak adhesive on back had to sink a couple finishing nails through it.

This tape sucks! in my review

My window AC came with 3/4" wide strips of this sort of tape so when I got new windows installed, I bought the larger size on here to seal it up. I put two overlapping strips of this tape on in Sept of 2019 and by Nov, the adhesive was not sticking, mostly where the tape overlaps. Sticks a little better directly onto metal, but not much. I have several locations where it doesn't stick to the metal and plastic anymore. And I cleaned all the surfaces before using it. VERY disappointed. Right now,

Pros
  • Dustproof: The foam insulation tape also prevents dust and other pollutants from entering your home, keeping it clean and hygienic.
Cons
  • The adhesive on foam insulation tape may not be suitable for all types of paint or lacquer, potentially causing damage or discoloration

Great insulator in my review

I bought this to insulate a gap in the wall under the kitchen sink. There was a gap between the wall and the pipe under the kitchen sink where cold air entered. I wrapped the tape around the pipe, covering the opening. That stopped the cold air, and my kitchen is warmer.

Pros
  • Weatherproofing
Cons
  • The white color of foam insulation tape may attract dirt and grime, making it difficult to clean and keep looking fresh

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Great for filling small spaces that let in cold air.

I used this where my french doors had a small gap at the top between the doors. A small piece of this was installed it 1 minute and solved the cold air problem. I can see many good uses for this product.

Pros
  • Enhances Cooling: This tape ensures that cool air doesn't escape your home, making your air conditioning more efficient and cost-effective.
Cons
  • Foam insulation tape may not be long-lasting enough to make a significant impact on overall home energy efficiency
