A godsend for knitters with hand problems

These needles are helping me because my arm is sore from carpal tunnel and tendonitis. Square needles are much easier to grip than cylindrical ones and the needles slide easily as the metal is smooth and speed-enhancing.

Pros
  • Looking forward to it
Cons
  • Hard to say

Square shape doesn't fit sock needles

I've used large Cubics needles and I like them, but they're too small to really benefit from the square shape. It just makes them a little more awkward to use. I'm going to use my regular Nova Platina for the sock needles. Not to mention they bend pretty easily and I'm not a very strong knitter.

Pros
  • Decent performance

great needles for people with hand problems

These needles are great for knitting socks. This is my second sentence. After using my first set for about a year, the size 0 was a bit deformed. I had ulnar nerve dysfunction and had to have surgery to treat it and these needles work well in my hands although two fingers are numb and muscle weakness. They are easy to hold, warm to the touch and have size engravings. The holder had no odor.

Pros
  • easy to use
Cons
  • quick start guide

Row of Stitches

I used to try Kollage Square circular needles and the connector snagged on every row so I skipped this shape. I love my Knitters Pride woodland knitting needles, but they're a little slow for me, so I stumbled across this line from KP while wandering around and bought two sets to knit two socks at a time. Of course, experience is most important, but I get consistent seams with them, so much so that there is a visible difference when I place socks (not blocked) connected to other DPs next to…
