A day . in the scratching post

It arrived this afternoon. and kittens 12 weeks old, three of them. My 12 year old put it together in just a few minutes. Kittens loved this. And it comes and goes. They will play for a while and then ignore it. But after about an hour of play it started to wear out. Especially bouncing balls. The bars just buckle and lose their rebound after a while, as do the bells. At the moment it is nothing more than a scratching post. Neither of us thought it was worth $20 more. Not happy with my choice.

The cat likes that. But. suitable for beds and furniture

The Lahas Kitten Scratcher, Paper Rope Covered Scratchers and Two Ball Playmats were easy to assemble and my two kittens would attack them even as I was assembling them. Have fun and enjoy. But there is a but here. In the end he lost one of the balls. Of course, my kittens are pretty rough, but I was surprised how quickly they destroyed a ball. Of course, they just play with a different and sometimes bare ending. Cats still love the scratching post, although I wish it was bigger. Kittens love…

Hope this lasts a while! I would advise you to remove the bells to be on the safe side to avoid choking!

This is a paper rope scratching post, NOT sisal rope. So just keep that in mind when purchasing. Scratching post for my senior cat and I was just looking at pictures of it until I opened it up I didn't realize it was paper and not sisal lol. what is ok I'll give it a try and my cat might even prefer it to the sisal rope scratching posts, who knows! :) I've only used sisal scratching posts for my cats so far as that's all I've seen in my stores so I'm interested in seeing my cat try it!
