I have used this in a salon before and loved it. It cost about the same on Amazon so I ordered it for convenience. This is NOT the same product. It smells different, feels different and leaves a heavy buildup in my hair. Do yourself a favor and buy one from your hairdresser, don't waste your money on this.

My stylist recommended this product to me when my silver blonde hair started breaking 2 inches from the scalp every time I styled it at the roots. This is a great product - I don't have colored hair but my stylist used it on me last visit and it's real well helps smooth out frizz and makes my curls soft and manageable. For fine hair - use just a little - less is more, too much and it can weigh hair down, just the right amount and it will "bounce and work" (some people may be too young to remember this hair advert) .

I'm a product lover - I fall for what they promise and have often been disappointed. My hairdresser recommended this product to me a few years ago to keep my red color looking fresher longer and my coarse hair smooth. I have to say since using it I've noticed a difference in how long it takes me to go from color to texture to my hair. It doesn't last a few weeks but helps my hair color stay bright longer. The only downside that keeps me from giving more stars is that it's quite expensive for such a small bottle.
