Fur. didn't work for what I messed up

Not effective for my application. Will they suit you? Are you willing to spend a few bucks to give it a try? OR do you have a vise? Everything is fine with this set, but they did not fit me.

Pros
  • Great for a small house
Cons
  • Makes me nervous

Works well - tool kits

What I really like about this tool is that it cuts straight grooves in the bolt or nut you are trying to remove and is not pointed like most tools. This allows you to reinstall a stripped nut/bolt to move the car if you need to order or select a new nut/bolt.

Pros
  • Large selection
Cons
  • Seniors

I really regret not having them in my tool box.

I'm sorry I didn't find them in my toolbox much sooner. Such a lifesaver. I bought them specifically to remove broken exhaust manifold bolts on an '05" Silverado. If you're looking at them, BUY them! They make the job 100x easier.

Removed 24 frozen axle bolts.

Best remover I have ever used. 24 axle bolts, no wear. The "drill chuck" type puller broke without moving a single bolt. The Milwaukee Impact took some time to remove, it's only a 1/2 inch disc, but I want you to know that if you abuse this tool, it won't break it.

Pros
  • Good workmanship
Cons
  • No

It worked fine for me for tool kits

I had broken off an 8mm coarse exhaust manifold bolt in the head. I tried another puller and it snapped the remaining bolt so now only half an inch is sticking out of the cylinder head. I bought this set of extractors filled with a second small extractor what was left of the bolt and the bolt came out with no fuss. I was amazed at how well this worked, but of course your mileage may vary.

Pros
  • good thing
Cons
  • I don't remember but there was something

This mistake saved me a lot of time!

Luckily I ordered this Lisle 19250 puller and had to use a smaller size, hammered it onto the bobby pin but even it started to twist on the bobby pin. After heating the head, and not the bolt, it began to turn out, which pleased me a little. I ordered this by mistake and ordered a Mayhew Select 29895 bolt extractor. It worked fantastic on the first two but didn't work on the one I damaged trying to get it out earlier and actually made the bolt smaller than this extractor . Sometimes a mistake…

Pros
  • There's something there
Cons
  • Minor issues
