Worth buying Nozzles and hose nozzles

Works great. I've used it on several Ford Superduty trucks to backflush a clogged heater core that wasn't producing heat in the cab. It works best if you disconnect both hoses from the motor that go to and from the heater core, and then run water through the heater core in both directions several times until all you get is clean water.

  • Easy to read control panel

Worked great: Nozzles and hose fittings

Bought for a specific car that had a leaky cooling system. After replacing the head gasket, radiator, and flushing the coolant, I couldn't get enough coolant to flow through the heater core to blow hot air. I decided to buy this to try, it arrived the next day and worked like a charm. Flushed out a ton of crap and stopped the leak, after that the heater worked perfectly.

Ideal for cleaning clogged pipes.

I know its primary use is for flushing car cooling systems, but I've found an even better use. With a little Ky jelly and a ready attitude, it makes a wonderful enema. It took me several days of training to get it fit, but the tears were worth it as the rinsing action this product provides helped clean every piece of gum I've ever swallowed, which I was told was next to impossible. 10/10 I would buy again especially if I am due for a colonoscopy.

Blow up clogs with power!

This product saved me a lot. I got a $4500 offer to fix a blown head gasket and water pump so I decided to replace my own water pump and just ran about $30 of K&W through the engine to fix the leaks and try to stop the repair seal. It worked, but at the same time it clogged my heater core and my engine ran very hot and I had to keep adding coolant. I tried a cheaper garden hose flushing tool but it didn't work because the water flushed in two different directions instead of straight into theโ€ฆ

Great product for flushing the heater core

I bought this product to SIMPLY flush the heater core on my Explorer. I saw a video where they buy an adapter with a nozzle that screws into the hose etc. Not a bad idea, but what a problem. and you can't control the pressure SIMPLY by bending a garden hose. Full pressure with the hose can damage the aluminum in the heater core (depending on vehicle type, pressure should not exceed 30psi) (remember not to use CLR). I used this Lisle tool, pulled the trigger about 1/4 (it can put some pressure),

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Hard to say

A tool that does exactly what it's supposed to!

I was looking for this specific tool because I knew it had to be there! As a professional technician, it has taken me too long to "install" standard garden hose fittings etc to complete a heater core flush. I came across this tool just in time to flush out a particularly stubborn Jeep Liberty core. It worked perfectly. For convenience and reusability, I cut off a couple of scrap tubes of different diameters, clamped them to the end of the tool, and then directly to the exit of the core. Goodโ€ฆ

My Experience with Lisle Tool

I am a professional mechanic and I have never had the opportunity to try this tool. I have a Chev Blazer that I physically replaced the heater core on 10 years ago. Well a few months ago it was clogged and I wanted to spend the day removing the whole dash again to replace the core. I saw this tool on Revain and realized that I really have nothing to lose but a lot to gain. By the way, you can isolate the defective core by feeling the temperature in the two hoses of your heater, if any. Whenโ€ฆ
