    The magnet fell off after 2.5 years

    This is my favorite timer. I bought two of these. I wish the glue holding the magnet was better than glue. After 2.5 years the timer just fell off the magnet when I went to get the timer. It's a strong magnet which I like, but it needs a stronger glue. The timer itself is still RUNNING, but now I just need to find a good glue. See photo. (Cover the sound part to muffle the sound when the baby is sleeping. It's still quite loud though.)

    Great repeat timer - easy to use

    I needed a timer that would remind me to get up and leave every 20 minutes. I've searched everywhere and finally a friend recommended this one. This is a great timer for my purposes. Set it for 20 minutes, start the timer, wait for the time to expire and the timer will beep, then simply press the start/stop button to reset the time for another 20 minutes. To infinity. I love this timer! I use it for almost everything. The final use is to measure coffee brewing time in a French Press.

    Poor build quality of this China made digital lux timer, avoid!

    Poor build quality of the Chinese Lux Digital Timer. Parts separate minutes after being removed from packaging. I placed the timer on my fridge and when I took it off the magnet detached from the back of the Lux Timer. Then I heard a loose object bounce in the timer. I later found a black screw on the floor that had come loose from the back of the timer. The timer still works perfectly, but I wouldn't buy it again.

    Durable, accurate and loud enough

    We've had this LUX timer for YEARS. It's still going strong. In the meantime we have tried several other varieties as we always have two dishes that cook at the same time. When the latter was getting a bit dusty, I therefore ordered a second LUX brand. I also hope it lasts a long time. It's simple - minutes and seconds and remembers the last setting. So for a 5 minute tea we just have to press start and then the same button to end. heard in the next room. Very easy.

    We use these timers with our fryers. If you cook the same meal over and over again, this is the best simple digital timer you will find. The only downside (and I won't take a star off this one) is that it beeps every time you add a minute when setting.     Great little countdown timer

    I love this timer and use it all the time. a stainless steel refrigerator where it is always at hand. After the countdown has finished and the alarm has gone off, I can press the button and it will go back to the time I set it to. For example I set it to 45 minutes when I wash my clothes and when the alarm goes off it goes back to 45 minutes which I then start after I put the clothes in the dryer.     A definite improvement over the mechanical lux timer!

    When I got married in 1969, my wife introduced me to the Lux mechanical timer, which her family called "Ding" and so did we. I've found that mechanical timers tend to break down after shorter and shorter periods of use, so after the last one failed I decided to go with this electronic model. What I like about it is that it's loud (as loud as the timer function on my GE wired microwave, which says a lot), the beeping lasts until it shuts off (to be perfectly accurate - I have it as a test). beep
