We bought these for the chest freezer in our garage and were hoping we could use them to move them over the smooth concrete floor to another spot in the garage. Well that turned out to be a mistake as they didn't slide at all even though the concrete is very smooth and slippery. They can work on smoother surfaces, but I think the results are more the same then.

I think it's my fault but I didn't realize these discs have double sided tape on them. Thus, the furniture slides on the protective belt. If you remove the protective tape, the disc must be glued under the leg of heavy furniture. Good luck with it. Trying to eject a disc after moving furniture is a nightmare. If you only plan to use these discs to move furniture, this is not the product for you.

Excellent results with this product. Bought 2 sets total 8 sliders to fit under the legs of a pair of twins, iron bed frames with 3 layer latex mattresses. Total weight is about 250 pounds per bed. Sitting on beautifully polished soft pine floors that we didn't want to damage. Moving the beds on regular sticky felt feet required two people to squeeze them firmly to force them apart during linen changes.
