My son didn't like it but it's a great toy!

Very well made toy. Unfortunately, my son never did. How pshikovy interest. Big O Nada. He loves to put things in his mouth and just can't seem to find the right fit with these brightly colored wooden beads. I bought him when he was 6 months old. I don't know if it would matter if I gave it to him when he was a few months younger and not teething like crazy. I realize that some toys are all about timing. And sometimes the child just has preferences, like everyone else. Like my eldest son Sophie

I think I'm a bigger fan of this toy than my kid and that's ok! The perfect adult stress reliever toy!

I originally got this toy for my son for his first birthday Bought. He held it for a few minutes, admired the flowers, chewed a few balls once or twice, and then moved on. However, I just love this thing haha! I like natural wood and its softness. My favorite part is the clicking sound they make when you play with them absent-mindedly (also, the colors aren't that bright and the shape isn't special enough to make it look like a kid's toy when an adult is playing with it). Larger than Haba version

I hope this review (and photo) helps customers like me who want to see the difference between the Manhattan Toy version and the Haba version. To me, the Manhattan Toy beads are the originals that I have seen in stores and at friends and I was disappointed with how small the Haba beads were.
