It is stretchy.: Horses

I really like this mask and so does my horse. It stretches but I understand it shrinks back after washing. It's soft and I love that there are no straps.

Mesh too thin in Pest Control

Mesh too thin for rainy days; My horse can't see out. I just couldn't use it on rainy days, but here in Florida it can rain almost any day any time during the summer. Too bad because the color of this mask was so beautiful.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • Ugly packaging

Not for everyday grazing

This fly mask is easy to put on a horse but doesn't really stick. My horses will get rid of it in 10 minutes. But I found it a good mask for riding under the bridle on my toughest days. The mesh is thin enough for them to see through and light enough not to be disturbed. But for pasture use you will definitely want a more powerful one that performs better. All of my horses easily became Houdini when I tried this on them.

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes

Funny and functional!

These masks are fun and functional and we love them. They are easy to wash and don't spread. Of course they can take them off here and there, but it's no tragedy if that happens, we just put them back on or wash them first when they get dirty. Gives our horses enough space in the net or net over the eye. But mostly it's fun and a great way to do something good for your horses. I like them better than the old style heavy mesh and velcro straps.

  • Everything is fine!

Cute, best fly repellent when wearing masks

In summer, flies in the desert are ruthless. Our horses wear fly masks almost all year round to protect them from UV rays and insects. This mask fits my Andalusian mustang stallion perfectly. The eye mesh bubbles are not as smooth as his usual famous brand mask. I ended up cutting off the ear mesh because Azul just hated earbuds. Unfortunately this is more of a winter/spring mask simply because the fabric is not breathable and the face is all mesh. When it's 111 degrees, you don't want anything

Pros
  • Comfortable to use
Cons
  • Frequency

Holds up much better than velcro models

I wish I could give more stars! I love these masks. I have a very sensitive horse that hates wearing fly masks. He can usually take them off in a few hours. The mask lasted 3 days! There is no velcro and the fabric is too thin to wash on trees. I'm thrilled that I don't have to search the pasture for fly masks! This mask is similar to Slime and is worn over the nose. The ears help hold it in place. The eye sockets are very large and adequate. It's not close to touching his real eye. The net is…

Great (when it was reduced) price for a medium to good quality mask.

Bought one of these to try because of a temporary discount. I really liked the colour/pattern and the fit was ok so I bought another one in a different colour. While each mask is said to be "big", one mask is smaller than the other - I would guess that one is the size of a "piston" and the other more like a "horse". This is fine for my situation because I have multiple horses, but it may not work for others. The big difference between these masks and the others I have are the eye covers. They…
