It is NOT waterproof! Not even waterproof! I am so disappointed. Revain, please update the product description before other little boys on the island become miserable with wet feet.

Best Pro: great support on the outsole. They do a great job on loose rocks and steep descents. The worst minus point: In the heel area there is a seam inside the shoe, which causes blisters even in good socks.

While definitely not waterproof, they dry very quickly. They are light and comfortable. I have a women's size 7 and ordered these as inexpensive hiking shoes. The toe box is really wide so they look a little chunky but I like the extra room.

The profile and overall quality of the shoe is what I would expect from Merrell. My son loves playing in the creeks which usually gets his shoes wet.
