Perfect handrails for more safety!

Easy to mount on 2"X4" studs; includes screws 2.25" long, #10 steel screws for hardwood; hardening makes it easy to grip with wet or soapy hands. Tube diameter is perfect for all 18", 16", and 32" handrails I've purchased ; Steel is rust-resistant, hospital-grade in design and material. The designer of MOEN needs to be congratulated on their great work, as does the production team!

Pros
  • Sturdy finish
Cons
  • I vaguely remember

Looks good and easy to install

We have a large double shower that nothing can hold on to. When you turn 65 and have your first Medicare exam, your doctor should ask if you have a shower rod. After two years of saying no, I was finally able to say yes. Easy to install once you know where your studs are behind the tile. To do this I used my nail finder and my new ceramic tile drill bit that I found online. Looks great and more useful than I thought.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Ugly packaging

It's worth installing this handrail, but the screws are rubbish.

This handrail took several hours to assemble. Finding the studs in the wall and drilling the holes for them correctly is very important. Don't rely on just tapping on the wall to find your nail size, use an electric nail finder. Associated screw heads break off easily, poor quality. Get a large pack of good quality 2" screws (in case the heads still come off) and you'll save yourself a lot of time and trouble.

Reliable design at a reasonable price

We put it in a tiled shower room. It's well built and sturdy. The two round mounting plates on each side have holes for multiple screws that fit the studs and allow for 500lb suspension. Rating that comes with the product. Mounting plates come with donut covers as you can see in the photo. It's all stainless steel, but since the lids don't keep water off the screws, I wonder if they'll rust over time, so I gave 4 stars instead of 5.

Pros
  • Best in its niche
Cons
  • not reliable

High quality, easy install, grippy finish

My mom was reluctant to install these things but after I put them in her shower she was SO happy she had them. At 93, she still lives largely alone and is very independent. She wasn't one to recognize the need for tools, she actually said "I'm so glad I thought of that"! Ha. This handlebar is textured for better grip. Now that it's installed, we both feel better. It's easy to install, except I had problems with tiles on the wall. Apparently the builder filled it with concrete and I had to drill

Pros
  • Comfortable to use
Cons
  • Reliable

Safety is a priority for disabled people.

This grab bar plus 12 inch screen was recently installed in the bathroom of our new home. I feel like they are of a higher quality than what I bought and used in my previous home. First, the grip on the handle does not slip. With my old TV I used to put a rag on the railing to get a better hold of it, which made it another chore to take it off after a shower and to bend down to pick it off the floor from time to time, another danger! My husband, who has very limited mobility, can stand…

Just right for safety, bathroom aids and accessories

Easy to install the way you want it. As this rod is 32 inches long, it's easy to attach securely with two rivets - that's the number one reason to buy. The "polished" portion of the stem resembles frosted glass, is easier to grip than regular smooth steel, and is something I now get for every other such stem I install. The included screws were stainless steel, if I remember correctly they were 1-1/2 inches long; I replaced the 2" stainless steel screws to make sure they bite the studs well…

Pros
  • Sleek design
Cons
  • Good but not great

Very Strong Handrail

I am impressed with the strength of these handrails. My wife and I feel safe using them when entering, bathing and exiting. We like the texture of the handrail's "polished" surface. As for installation, it's hard to tell anyone else if it's easy or not; True, I'm homemade, not a professional; I found that the most doable. Perhaps the hardest part is finding the studs to attach to the wall; A good spike finder should work in most cases. I was able to install a handrail using the screws provided…

Bath Wall Mounted Porcelain Stoneware

Excellent product. Looks good, feels good. Did I mention it can also help you stay alive if you fall? My biggest problem was finding the studs. Apparently my nail finder didn't go through porcelain and drywall. So I looked to the other side of the wall, into the kitchen. The mounting screws for the cabinets showed pretty clearly where the studs were. But here's the bad news. The 2X4 bolt is only 1 1/2 inches wide, so getting all three bolts into it is almost impossible. I only had 2 screws on…
