Good work. Did exactly what I needed.

Worked well. Did exactly what I needed. It's light and strong/durable. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because the wrench is too wide to remove the top of the fork while it's still on the bike. It rests on the steering wheel mounts. So if I want to adjust the amount of oil in the fork, I have to take everything off.

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Hard to say

Worked but could have been better

Worked on my 2009 KTM with closed cartridge forks. However, it would be nice if it was thinner around the head so I could loosen the fork cap while the fork is mounted to the bike. There is not enough space between the fork cap and the handlebar mount for such a thick tool, it only has to be made a millimeter thinner to make it fit. I give it 4 stars because it worked great with the fork off the bike.

  • Automotive
Cons
  • Can't remember

Good quality key

good quality key. I can't believe how easy it is! In any event, the 50mm head is a completely different shape and will NOT fit my 2006 CRF250R or X. Repairing a fork without this or other special tools. Even the gasket screwdriver can be improvised. The key for the inner tube (groove) is easily made using a piece of aluminum stock and a table saw. However, having the right tools is GOOD. I don't understand why Motion Pro can't provide a list of bikes that the tool is suitable for. IMHO, MP…

Pros
  • Fluids and maintenance
Cons
  • Suitable for

I bought this wrench in preparation for changing the fork springs on my 17 KTM 350 EXC-F First minus point: too much material around the 50mm hex, allowing the wrench to be fitted to the fork cap without completely removing the handlebar clamps. I've already removed the handlebars and removing the clamps is another unnecessary job when changing springs. If the wrench had a slightly thinner head he would have given it 5 stars. Otherwise it worked fine. This wrench probably would have been better

Pros
  • Tool kits
Cons
  • Very expensive
