Works great!

Part exactly matching my 2012 Explorer! Installing this part was easier than removing the step plate :) The step plate is attached with 3 screws, two in front and one on the left rear. I assumed the clamp was holding the left rear in place. After not getting it off by pulling for a while, I thought, hey, maybe it'll hold a screw. I took a deep plate 7mm 1/4 socket with an extension and was able to remove it! The resistor is easy to remove and replace. Now the fan works as it should!

My 2011 F150 Lariat Limited was repaired.

Thanks to the internet and Revain, I fixed an issue with my 2011 F150 HVAC fan that was stuck at high speed. My truck has a sat nav as it is a Lariat Limited. The part I removed from the truck matched this part exactly. The hardest part of the installation was getting to the 8mm nuts. I ended up with an 8mm reversible ratchet wrench. The part itself is located just below the dash and next to the step strip on the passenger side. Simply unplug and unplug the cable connector, then remove and…

Fits Eddie Bauer's 2007 CDI Expedition

Although Revane's shop said it wouldn't fit my Expedition 07, it did. This worked to fix my intermittent fan and no fan speed control issues. The photos show that the original part (right) is much larger than its replacement. The new part (left) is an original Motorcraft part and fits perfectly (see 2nd and 3rd photos). Total install time was about 10 minutes (including the time it took to change my wife's stuff in the glove box. All you need is an 8mm socket or wrench. I would use a 1/4"…

Works as expected: Air conditioning

Original Motorcraft parts worked as they should. Tried one of these first on the cheaper Revain parts on offer and although $20 cheaper the connector didn't fit as the contacts in the cheaper part were misaligned. So I ordered this part and compared both and the Motorcraft part is actually stronger as well and looks better overall. The new Motorcraft part is slightly shorter than the original part used in our 2008 Ford WEscape Hybrid. The part works perfectly and since the overall height is not

Works as intended - 2008 Ford Escape Dual Climate Control

Replacing this resistor was key to fixing the fan control problem in my 2008 Ford Escape Hybrid. The problem was that you can use the blower resistor to control the interior heater/AC fan speed. Many people have had problems with resistors failing and their fans only running at high speeds. This is because a high setting uses no resistance and gives full power to the fan motor. In my case, the dual climate control option behaved slightly differently and the fans blew at high speeds regardless…

Worked on a 2008 Ford Expedition

Installed this OEM part in my 2008 Ford Expedition Eddie Bauer with automatic temperature control. It fitted perfectly and solved the problem of the fan getting stuck at high altitude even when I tried to turn it off. Also the manual fan control didn't work until I installed this replacement part. Searching the web I have found conflicting information on the correct part number. Revain also claimed that this part would not fit the 2008 Ford Expedition, but thanks to another Revain review on…

Genuine Ford Part - Installed on the 2013 Explorer

I ordered this unit to troubleshoot fan overvoltages in the HVAC system on my wife's 2013 Ford Explorer. It came in Motorcraft packaging exactly as shown. Installation requires removing the panel under the fan assembly, which is located just below the glove box. If you've ever changed a cabin air filter, you've seen the top of this assembly. The plate is held in place by three screws. You will need at least a six inch and quarter inch ratchet extension to remove the bolts. After that you will…

Perfect replacement and significantly cheaper than the dealer price!

My truck fan gets stuck at maximum power no matter what I do. I've searched online for a possible cause of the problem and found many reports that the resistor is the problem. I searched the Ford parts website and was able to find it at my local dealer. I reserved an OEM resistor at the dealer but it should have been almost $150 including tax. So I found this after researching dealer price alternatives and shipping options instead of going to the dealer because. COVID, you know. It costs about…

The exact part. Wrong information. Do your homework.

My front air conditioner failed (stuck) on my expedition. I found several websites telling me there are other part numbers that fit my car. Several salespeople at Revain have told me about it. But the parts didn't work for me. I knew this because I went to the local auto parts store to buy what I needed. I had my model and chassis number with me. The part they sold me didn't fit. Looked right, but the plugs were too long. I took it back Restarted online as they would have to order another one…
