Ideal for transitioning from CDs to the latest digital sources

My old Rotel CD changer almost died (doesn't recognize many of my CDs) and I've been looking for one Substitute. I didn't want to spend a lot of money because I was moving away from the CD format. It was the perfect choice. I considered a separate DAC and transport, but my wallet was too light. Pros
  • 24bit/192kHz digital processing via optical and coaxial inputs
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

I think I got my first "warning" when I read the manufacturer's instructions. Brochure "DAC Wolfson WM8805". In reality, the WM8805 is not a DAC, but an S/PDIF transceiver that handles a variety of digital inputs. If they don't understand theโ€ฆ
