These feed bags are the best!

Very thick canvas, even thicker skin on the buttocks and around the head. I wish I had bought these before spending tons of money on other grocery bags. Thanks for an excellent product!

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Some defects

The best feed bag I've ever used.

I love this feeder. It's well made to handle all the rough use that a horse can go through. The canvas is durable, the rubber bottom is easy to clean, the stitching is strong and the leather used is very thick. Yes, this feed bag was more expensive, but it lasted longer than any thinner, more fragile products on the market that I've tried. Thanks Outfitters Supply, this is exactly what I needed!

Expensive but definitely worth it.

If you have horses that don't like feed bags (I have a filly that can destroy a regular canvas feed bag within a week of purchase) then you will appreciate their durability. They are expensive, but hold up very well. A regular pet food bag has a plastic or cheap metal closure with no extra support at the bottom of the bag. They are fully stitched with a thick leather strap that extends to the bottom of the bag which is also made from very sturdy/thick leather. I love these bags!

VALUE THE MONEY VALUE

They may seem expensive compared to others made of mesh or other materials, but there is a difference. They are made from high quality leather and canvas and are stitched to withstand all the folly a horse may be subjected to. I bought 4 over 12 years ago and they have been used almost daily over those years and apart from the 'rustic patina' that comes from this use they are in excellent condition. I have just purchased 2 more as I have added 2 more horses to my herd. This allows me to give…
