Love PacSafe is good for computers and accessories

I had my last PacSafe backpack for about 10 years. It saved me from a pickpocket in Chile. I would have lost my entire wallet and passport on the first day of the trip. I could feel the man trying to open it and I turned and embarrassed her like Cersei in Game of Thrones. I'd feel guilty if I left my wallet in the outside pocket, but it's pretty damn handy. When my original backpack wore out I bought another version but it didn't have an outside pocket and it was driving me crazy. So I'm…

Hot back! Bags, suitcases and cases

First: the packaging is good. Used it for a week on vacation. Notes: Smaller size makes it easier to carry in crowded places than my usual big backpack. It's not waterproof. We got rain (and hail) one day and when I got back to the hotel there was water in the main compartment. I think it went overboard because the camera and electronics were dry at the top of the compartment and the shirt got wet at the bottom. So I was lucky. The security features are easy to use when needed, but we had no…

Better PacSafe than sorry.

This is the latest of several PacSafe items we own: woman's purse, camera strap, other bags, all well made and durable. We bought these things because we travel a lot and are afraid of theft. All products are reinforced with steel wire at vulnerable points and/or have lockable zippers. So far we haven't been robbed personally, but we have numerous acquaintances who have been victims on the street, on trains, etc.

Justifies the hype!

I needed a secure backpack for a trip abroad and after reading all the blogs and YouTube videos I decided to give this backpack a try. I didn't want to spend exorbitant money on Nomatic or use eBags as they don't even offer safety features. So far this backpack has endured the trip very well and hasn't broken my bank. Really high quality and durable. The zippers are good and you have an RFID pocket inside, as well as a padded laptop compartment (fits my 15" MacBook Pro easily). There are even…

Spacious, durable and comfortable

Padded shoulder straps are comfortable and sit comfortably on the back when carried. Organizer pockets work well. Plenty of room for a weekend getaway with clothes, toiletries and gadgets. The security features aren't too cumbersome to use. Easily fits under an airplane seat. The fabric and construction feel durable and well made.

Used for a trip to Europe

Used for a 9 day trip to Italy. Sometimes it's inconvenient to undo the latches, but the point is to deter thieves, so I can't complain. Overall a good backpack. I am happy with this purchase.

Cons

For tall people only

I liked almost everything about this bag but sent it back because it hangs too low, even with the adjustable straps in the shortest position. (It adjusts less than you might think because most reinforced straps are too thick to fit through the adjustment buckle.) I'm an average height of 5'9" and didn't like that this bag was below the belt hung. The manufacturer's support confirmed that the straps cannot be adjusted behind the reinforced part.

  • Excellent overall performance

Great backpack but if it had a luggage strap it would be even better!

I bought it for trips abroad. I didn't go to dangerous places or anything like that, but zips made me feel a little safer on my solo travels far from home. I liked that it's a tweed gray color, that it's not bulky but comfortably fits what I need. Basically I just locked one pocket that held my wallet and left the others so I could get to the lotion and other things easily. I liked that the side water bottle pockets were nice and roomy but also held smaller water bottles securely. The only…

Was a very cool tool

I had to fly to the Netherlands for an unexpected trip to the hospital. I spent three weeks wandering around trying to get food for my husband, an apartment to stay in after he was released as he couldn't fly home immediately, or just a weekend trip to Belgium to visit friends . It's the perfect size for laptop and iPad, my travel bag fits snugly, a bottle of water fits snugly in the wide and tall side pockets, plenty of room for small items like chewing gum, glasses, charging cables, etc. I…

Great backpack for travel

I was looking for an international travel backpack that could be used as a carry on/handbag and also be taken on day trips when traveling. I took a respectable collection of things I usually carry with me: planer, Canon camera, spare lens, charger, wallet, kindle, pens, water bottle, baby wipes, lipstick/lip balm; and tried them in several different backpacks. I actually wanted to keep the Metrosafe LS450, but it was too big for my purposes. Also, as another reviewer mentioned, I couldn't get…
