Have found the case to be too thin to fit brushes with thicker handles on either side. My watercolor brushes take up all the space when closed, so I can only use one side. Since these are expensive brushes, I don't mind protecting them. The tiny slots at the ends on the right are useless for most brushes unless you're using ultra-fine types. This product does not hold the thicker art brushes, it holds very firmly when pushed in. Otherwise a very strong and comfortable fixation, the bristles are not damaged during storage. I only had one day but I just don't see how that could happen due to the product design. Would give 5 stars if they added a bit more width to make it easier to accommodate artist's thicker brushes. I bought one of these cases a few months ago and was so impressed I've ordered another one. I use them to store brushes in the studio and when traveling. The case is well constructed and I see no possibility of it falling apart, the zipper is strong and will stand up to a lot of wear and tear. The elastic is of excellent quality and I have a feeling it will last a long time without stretching.
