Despite the high price this is a very good product. The skin is very soft, smooth and elastic. A nylon lining completes the whole thing. That looks great. I use it for mechanical pencils, erasers and travel pens.

Yes, it's smaller than dollar store pencil cases, but has room for 3-4 pens, a mini stapler, a marker, and other small items. Cute and goes with all the other Piel cases I have such as the business card id case.

I just love Piel leather and I would have kept it (although it was too small we will be very small) if not For the cut on leather this is the second time I have received a defective leather item on Amazon I think I will simply return to Brookstone to purchase these items because their products are of the highest quality.

Simply beautiful - exceptional quality leather, like all Piel products I have ever bought. Soft oiled leather, beautiful contrasting seams, very high-quality cover. Cool. I actually bought it to carry around an expensive flashlight that I recently bought. I've tried a few flashlight pouches but none fit. I think it's an oddly large flashlight. Anyway, this one fits well and protects it from scratches while in my purse.

The color of the case is not true red like in the picture, it's so dark red it almost looks like burgundy. Not exactly what I wanted, but I've been stuck with it since I opened the package. In terms of price, this is an expensive size as it's not big enough to hold freshly sharpened pencils. Be careful when ordering red online, I was very disappointed with this as the pictures of these products can be VERY DECEIVING. I donate if someone is interested (laughs).
