🤫 Enhanced PlayMonster 5 Second Rule: Uncensored Edition Review

This is a fun partying game with close friends. Some themes are fun and some are a little cheeky, so you have to be comfortable with the company. Honestly, it's better if you drink. I'm deducting a star because the timer noise is very annoying and we stopped using it after a few rounds.

This game is a lot of fun, although I'd say it's a little better with 3-5 players than more. It ends up suffering from the same problem as Cards Against Humanity, where too many people are playing, leading to an odd lull in the game where not everyone is actively participating.

The game looks simple enough and can be fun. Unfortunately the box arrived in a padded envelope rather than an outer box and arrived damaged. I was planning to give this away as an icebreaker at a Christmas party, but in this condition it's not a gift worthy. It's not worth returning, so I'll seal the box and we'll play it one day anyway.

I laughed my ass off about it. I love it! Because of this, I couldn't get this game out to play at any social event. I had to remove quite a few cards that would offend my friends. I know that, so I have it under control. I also want the timer to be longer than 5 seconds. 10 would work better. We are elderly and our brains can't think as fast anymore. All in all an entertaining game. And not for small children. I would recommend it to a more mature audience that doesn't blush easily!

Liked the game. The themes didn't feel as "grown up" or out of place like many uncensored-style games (the intensity of the questions ranged from fairly innocent like celebrity names to listing sexual positions or things that turn you on), but somehow they felt like playing a bit more openly and needing a bit more extraversion or touch knowledge to quickly quote things in such a short amount of time. We enjoy playing "board games" both socially and as a family. This game was great fun and incredibly challenging. If you look at the back of the box, there is a sample card that says "Name 3". It's so easy to name three things when there's no timer. But take this time and try to speak quickly and it will be different!
