I use them for prosecco, soda and soda in glass bottles. Keeps everything sparkling even if you open it multiple times on the same bottle.

The cap is very easy to remove even when tightened so I'm not sure if it completely seals the bottle or stays tight for long. It works well with no leaks to keep an unfinished bottle in the fridge for a day or so.

purchased in December on a friend's recommendation. loved it. easy to use and actually keeps your bubbles, bubbles until it stops working because the "cork" doesn't get any smaller when you unscrew it so it's useless now. Lasted 6 months, only used a few times. Damn.

The appliance I received was defective. When I unscrewed the cap, he didn't pull the cork in or out, so he couldn't close the bottle. Also, the cork seemed too thick to fit in my Mumm Napa champagne bottle without much effort getting it in and out. My old plug from another company with a similar design fitted perfectly so I know how it should work.

First I wanted to give this one a 1 star. In the video you can see what happens when I do NOT follow instruction #3 which is to unscrew the plug, not just pull it out. inward and then twist. To be honest when I first used this I didn't understand how it worked. However, once I figured it out, I started using it a lot! This is a really high quality, heavy duty wine bottle sealer. After uncorking your wine, place it on top and roll up, closing the top. It seals very well and cannot be removed without unscrewing it. I find it keeps my wine well and stays fresh the next day.
