Wall protection works great! The gate I bought was a bit narrow - and with steps - it's just the right size now. I messed up my door by installing and removing old gates - need to remove and fix the drywall soon! I can leave it alone knowing my walls will be safe from damage.

Pretty crappy product. The rubber pad is loose. The disc is large and textured so it cannot be cleaned. It is best to use a plastic plate. Be aware that the seller will harass you via email if you buy this product.

After forty years of taking care of my home and having multiple gates, I finally found this wall protector. No more chips or scratches on the paint and also helps the gate stay in place. I bought about a year ago and just bought a new house for my daughters! Thanks for a great useful product.

They do what they say. This is critical for compression gates where the width of the opening has a range and your wall is outside of that range. The extra space they offer and the wall saving effect are worth the money. Also, the gate no longer moves as much as if it were just a gate on a bare wall.

This is a quality product made from durable material. There was an issue with shipping via Revain (not Safety Baby) and the customer service was great. They were very conscientious and constantly checking that I had received the product. It should last and hold up the wall through many grandchildren. :-)

The person who owned my house before had a child gate at the top of the stairs, you can still see where they repaired the walls after the damage left Where was the gate! I bought these wall protectors and installed them with our new baby gates and they worked great! Installation was quick and easy, no mess, no fuss and most importantly no damage. I would recommend them to anyone especially if you don't want to redo your walls if you are removing or moving your baby gates!

I have used this in combination with the Royal 1160 security gate and have tried it both with and without the liner. The standard overlays on the gate stained and even highlighted the textured paint on the wall where the gate moved during installation. After installing the wall saver, I immediately noticed that the gate would not move when pushed by an adult, while the pads moved by default after I pushed the gate.
