QUICKLY! High Performance Solid State Drive.

We used Microsoft's software RAID capabilities to split or combine two NVMe into one formatted drive letter by first placing two sticks on a PCIe card and then placing it in an x8 slot have installed. It's every bit as fast as a 970Pro running on a MB with an OS installed. This completely eliminated the BI camera recording interruption previously encountered when using traditional RAID-10 with 4 WD Red physical drives powered by an expensive RAID controller card. The entire system now uses less

Pros
  • Finally bought it

Ideal for NAS cache

Use 2 of them in Synology DS1819+ with E10M20-T1 and they work without problems. The maximum temperature is around 50-52C under heavy load (short term). Normal temperature is 42-47C. I can't comment on the performance as it's cached and not an easy way to test, but so far it's been working fine in both read-wright and read-only configurations.

Pros
  • Durable surface
Cons
  • Damaged

Very good device but not supported by Samsung Magician

Very reliable SSD for the money. Persistent up to one petabyte of recordings. It's just a pity that Samsung Magician can't read what's written. I recommend Samsung to cure this if they want to retail this excellent product.

Pros
  • So far I like everything
Cons
  • Long delivery time

Runs super hot. Above 70°C and above Samsung's nominal maximum.

I had no idea these M.2 SSDs could get so hot. No activity 50C. It is hot. If I run large files of 4 gigabytes or more, the disk heats up to 70 degrees immediately. This drive is not a good idea unless there is a heatsink with a fan to keep it cool.

Pros
  • Sleek design
Cons
  • Sad hardware

We used Microsoft's software RAID functionality to decompose or combine two NVMe into one formatted drive letter by first placing two flash drives on a PCIe card and then assembling them in an x8 slot installed. Unreliable, poor service from Samsung.

Never buy from Samsung, the device I received died after a week of use on my new server, lost all my data, I didn't have a backup at the time; I sent it back to Samsung, they sent a replacement which died a few days after I finished setting up all my VMs. This time I had a backup so I didn't lose my data but had to deal with the hassle of sending it back for a refund and Revain were only able to refund 80% of the cost as it was outside the return window. very bad experience.

Pros
  • Electronics
Cons
  • Ugly packaging

Incorrect length - 110mm not 80mm

Incorrect product dimensions. Listed as 3.16 inches (80mm) but actually 110mm. This only works with PCIe adapters listed as compatible with the 22110. This isn't a problem with the drive itself - excellent value for money! However, refunding and replacing other PC components is a hassle due to the incorrect listing. Edit: Screenshot of CrystalDiskMark, the de facto tool for measuring disk performance, is now included. Looks good and exactly as advertised, although you should note that 894GB…
