Great shaver, great deal

Shave almost as closely as the Hydro 5 (the best shaver I've ever used) but with less friction on your face. I'll probably switch between this and the 5 because both have their advantages and both fit the same grip. It has a smaller head than the Hydro 5 but doesn't have a flip top, so it's a little harder to get under your nose. To be honest if it had a flip top I don't think there would be any reason to buy a 5. In this 4+1 deck there are four 3s and a 5 (and it was a deck of two, so 10 in…

Not two packs. Don't waste time ordering.

This review is NOT for the blades themselves. When I ordered them it was supposed to be two packs as advertised. I received a package, I made a complaint and was instructed to return a package. Then they sent me another package.

The quantity of the item does not match the description in the ad.

The advert clearly states that there are two packs of 4+1 razors for a total of 10 razors. I only received a pack of 5 razors. I checked the questions before purchasing. A customer stated that he received two packs with a total of 10 blades. Either send me another pack of 5 blades or refund my money.

5 vs 3 and haircut

I like them more than 5 because there is less tug of war with a beard. My beard is thicker and cuts better. However, on the model 5, the top folds down for trimming, which is very handy if you need to trim your nose and/or sideburns (I have both). These 3 are not. It would be great if they would tip over too. I need a safety razor for my haircut. My idea would be two blades with a flip top for pruning.

5 Stars Shaving and Hair Removal

I really like these razors. Women's razors just don't cut. The Schick Hydro 5 is slightly better because it has more blades, but 3 blades works great. Schick is definitely a brand I trust. Blades last a long time. The cut is smooth and I don't have to worry about razor burn. I always recommend this brand when someone asks for an opinion on razors.

  • Pretty Packaging

  • Vulgarity

Doesn't fit my Schick pen?

So this is really weird. I received it today and was delighted with the new blades. For some reason it doesn't fit my current Schick pen. I've been using my pen for many years, so I know it can't be me. I've even ordered replacement blades from Revain in the past and they work perfectly. I make sure they're real. Came in the same original packaging.

  • Well built

Clean shaven but thick head

I've been using these blades for a few years now and Revain seems to have the best deal. I don't really like the new 4 and 5 blade razors. 2 or 3 blades seems like a good balance in my experience. These razors give me a close, nick-free shave and I almost never scratch. Razors will last much longer if you store them in a dry place once you're done using them. It took me a while to discover that using a razor in the shower (and therefore prolonged exposure to high humidity) not only caused the…

The best feeling, the best design and the best price!

I have a medium beard which means I have to shave every day and maybe at night when I know I'll be late. I've tried all the latest "improvements" like four or five blades to no avail. Even the "energy" units that seem to be buzzing around my face have little impact on intimacy. I don't like the big multiple blades because the blade block is much larger than the Hydro 3 blades and it's not as easy for me to trim my lips and mustache. Also, I don't like thicker blades under the chin. I've cut…

Excellent blades. Comparison Hydro 5, Quattro and Hydro 3

I have used all three razors and Schick blades and here is a detailed test report: All 3 blades have in common: 1. Sharp blades - the blades are really sharp and for every beard/stubble .2 . gel tank. Most blades have smears that don't hold up well over long periods of time. Schick blades have gel reservoirs that hold up well. The amount of gel seems to increase from Hydro 3 to Quattro to Hydro 5.3. Skin Guards are small strips of metal on top of each blade. Soothe your skin while you shave…
