Weak plastic ejection system broke almost immediately

I look good and the design is fairly easy to use but the tolerances are too tight for the compartments so it can be a bit difficult to eject to become without the slightest effort. It would also help if there were some spacers for thinner rims to have some stability - mostly for reassurance. Ordered a replacement so it might just be a coincidence but who knows.

Pros
  • A dream come true
Cons
  • Communication with seller

It's expensive for what you get. Silverstone is not the best quality.

Looks good, quality is not as good as I expected from Silverstone. It's expensive for what you get, but I'm adding more drives to a Silverstone rm41-h08 that already has an FS 305 installed, so I guess I just have to be careful with them when installing/swapping drives.

Pros
  • Not cheap but decent
Cons
  • Damaged

Drive Bay Functional - Bad Fan Selection

I bought a SilverStone RM41-H08 4U that came with one of those hard drive shrouds on the right side. The case was set up for 5.25" drives on the left, but it's pretty easy to swap out for a 3.5" drive bay, so I bought another case to hold 10 external hot-swappable Having drives without sleds available. Switch to set the built-in fan high or low. I found that low was fine for my needs, but the second drive enclosure that I bought separately didn't switch to low. The switch moved but stayed high.

Pros
  • Nice
Cons
  • Infinitely Sluggish

good body the best in computers and accessories

Good price. The package does not include SATA data cables or power cables. So make sure you have what you need. The rest works as it should.

Pros
  • This is amazing
Cons
  • embarrassing

One of the drive bays broke after 8 months of ownership.

One of the drive's SATA connections has stopped working. At first it seemed normal, but for reliable data it is too unreliable. look elsewhere Try the SUPERMICRO CSE-M35T-1B if you can find it.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Good, but not great

Annoying and poor quality, look elsewhere.

I used Supermicro CSE-M35T but it looks like they are being discontinued. If you can find them at an affordable price, just buy them with silent thin fans and make your life easier. Correctly? No, any skinny 80mm YLTC fan loud like it was in the 1990s. So they skimped on the fan, no big deal, replacing the fan is the norm anyway and this is Silverstone, they are a modding friendly company, it should be easy. no 1) The fan is mounted on cheap plastic screws that break in half upon close…

Pros
  • Built-in fan for excellent heat dissipation
Cons
  • Expandable

Great SATA/SAS device, low price

While the functionality of this device is solid, the build quality seems extremely poor for a Silverstone product. The internal lugs that push the disc out don't seem to move very well and may be brittle. I can definitely understand what other reviewers are saying when they say the plastic is broken. Compartment doors snap nicely in some cases, but not so much in their now fixed location. I tested the product in my Thermaltake Chaser Mk1 right after opening the box, where it fit very well…

Pros
  • Adjustable drive status LED and fan control system
Cons
  • Great deal
