Slightly overpriced and cheap wire but not many alternatives.

I think it's overpriced for what you get, but what are your options really? The cables are indeed shorter than the SilverStone power supply. However, they are also a cheaper cable, which makes me feel even more overpriced. Original power supply cords are 16 AWG, these are 18 AWG (bigger is smaller). I noticed it right away because they seemed much thinner. The top is more flexible, but to be honest the originals were pretty flexible because they are flat. I thought they were identical justโ€ฆ

Nice cable set.

The 8-pin CPU power cable is the only one I can't remove, but I'm not pointing the finger at Silverstone. Is the cable long enough? In my case yes, it connects normally. Would a longer cable help make it cleaner? nope ASRock placed the connector just behind the rear I/O ports, right in the middle of the Z87E-ITX. I still have to thread it through the front of the motherboard no matter which way I go damn it. I had a hard time connecting the 24 pin and 8 pin connectors. This was partly becauseโ€ฆ

I bought this cable when I added a new hard drive and I got an extra connector from the PSU. Unfortunately, when I plugged in my new hard drive and turned it on, the system immediately shut down. I was concerned that I might have a short somewhere, but since I was using a new cable and my PSU is 7 years old, I figured it was more likely that my PSU had issues. Using a multimeter, I found that I was not getting any voltage from my power supply, so I ended up buying a new power supply. Afterโ€ฆ
