This VCR is like new in the original packaging.

What I love about this VCR is that it plays my pre-recorded cassettes with great picture and sound quality. What I don't like is that I had to clean the heads of this VCR every five hours of tape playback and then wait a few hours for the solution I used to clean the heads to dry completely before I could play. a few more tapes, but that suited me.

Pros
  • Compact 4 head Hi-Fi VCR with Ad Skip and 8 event programming for 1 month
Cons
  • Unreliable

LATEST VCR

Well I originally bought this VCR in the 90's when prices were falling. Before that I could never afford a Sony VCR and they started releasing TiVo stuff around the same time. It was my second VCR in the first place as my Magnavox was my main and good one until he ate the cassette and let it go. It was the end. I didn't want to give Comcast more of my money to use their DVR system and I got tangled up in the TiVo system. I decided to "stay free" and buy another VCR like the one I already had…

Pros
  • Includes multi-brand remote and coaxial video cable
Cons
  • Damaged

Ah, welcome back my old friend!

I haven't used one of those old units in a long time, but I liked this one. a lot of! I paid $70 for this used VHS and my wife nearly killed me. I, too, was amazed at how few VCRs had fallen even here at Revain, so I started looking around. It was only then that I realized I had gotten a fair deal. Just because these suction cups are old doesn't mean they're cheap! I don't even know where to start looking for new VCRs, but I've found VCR/DVD combos and they're all over $100. But enough about…

Pros
  • 19 micron heads offer razor sharp EP recording quality (extended playback)
Cons
  • Out of fashion
