I will update this review when a replacement arrives. The block I received is defective. After 5 hours on the charger, the charge indicator is still red. Remove it to turn it on to see if it turns on. Nothing. I have other Stream Light products so I chose this light as I am familiar with their approach to the product. I was looking for a flashlight with sufficient brightness, good build quality and ease of use and finally found it. The only thing I have is that I want the power button to be accessible with the light closed. To access the button, you must move your hand at an angle of 90° or more. I have been using Streamlights for many years and they have been the brightest and highest quality lights that can pack a punch but I am very unhappy with this switchblade. The quality of light is very bright and transmits the flow of light well. What this product lacks is design and durability.
