Works for my purposes, but a more demanding user might not like it

I never have enough workspace (and always too many cables) in my home office. So I decided to ditch my USB keyboard and try wireless. Other reviewers' complaints about the range are valid; I've found that keystrokes reset unless the keyboard is within a few feet of the receiver (and there aren't many obstacles in between). OTOH, within those limits, the keyboard usability is perfectly acceptable, and the wireless usability is great. But I "don't really work with numbers" - I just often need to…

Pros
  • Full-size keys are comfortable and oversized for greater accuracy
Cons
  • New competitors are here

On business trips I missed the keyboard in particular. I envied co-workers who had large laptops with built-in keyboards (but I knew they were too heavy and big for me to carry around!). I found this on Amazon and spontaneously bought it. It installed quickly and I used it for a few minutes on my next business trip. Within an hour I had several colleagues who had traveled over and asked where I found such a cool accessory. I've bought wired keyboards in the past and been disappointed, but this…

Pros
  • A battery indicator lets users know when their batteries are low
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

Almost unusable: computer accessories and peripherals

Ha-ha-ha! It's almost funny how bad this product is. I couldn't believe other reviewers who said it had no range - I guess because all my wireless keyboards, mice, etc. always worked fine no matter where they were in the room. It can work from two feet! But even then it's not entirely perfect. I see no point in having something wireless within two feet. When I first tried it, it felt so weird I thought I was doing something wrong, getting closer and closer until wham! - I stand next to the…

Pros
  • Nano USB receiver is stowed in the keyboard to avoid loss
Cons
  • Slightly dented

Works when there is a clear view

So this touchpad works great when the button is pointed directly at the keypad. After reading the reviews I was curious if this keyboard is really as bad as they say it is. I have a USB extension cable, so having only a few feet between the key and the keyboard isn't a problem. I connected the key to the expander and placed it on my desk. Put the keyboard on my lap (about 2 feet apart). That does not work. I place the keyboard on the keyboard stand and place the key DIRECTLY ABOVE the keyboard…

Pros
  • Ergonomic tilt provides support to avoid wrist strain
Cons
  • High price

Great keyboard for input devices

This is a great addition for those who regularly type numbers on their laptops. I work with numbers quite a bit and it's quite annoying when you have to type a bunch of numbers on your laptop keyboard. Even when using the numeric keyboard function on a laptop, the diagonal key layout takes some getting used to. This little gadget solves that problem and makes entering numbers into your spreadsheets bearable. However, there are some differences between this keyboard and a regular laptop…

Pros
  • 2.4GHz technology with a range of up to 10 meters (33 feet)
Cons
  • Functionality
