The 19oz and 9.5oz cables have the same diameter. Weight is the total weight of the product: 19 ounces is 90 feet and 9.5 ounces is 45 feet. I saw one reviewer say that weight is related to diameter size and that you will buy a larger size for larger gaps. It is not true. I bought both sizes and the diameter is the same.
