Integrated with Home Assistant

I was able to integrate this into Home Assistant using HUSBZB-1 as a Zigbee router/gateway and these sensors. 5.4.1-194 when I connected the Zigbee sensors to the ZHA, they appeared as a universal device. I had to update HUSBZB-1 to the latest firmware (6.7.8-373) using the Git Hub recommendations on the Home Assistant website (on the ZHA integration page). After updating the gateway, these sensors will appear as 3 objects (each), one of which looks like a water sensor (on/off), another…

Minor issues but works great with SmartThings

Bought 8 of these sensors to use with SmartThings Hub. The sensors connected with no problems, but the reported battery level using the batteries (cheap generic batteries) that came with the camera was around 50%. All sensors with new batteries. A minor inconvenience, but worth noting. My only minor complaint is that the screws, which are also the actual water contact sensors, aren't high enough and report water too late in my opinion. I fixed this by adding a small piece of wire to the screws…

I bought this sensor for $12 which is quite a bargain compared to other brands. It uses AAA batteries so I expect good battery life but will update if that changes. I use this sensor with Home Assistant and it connected to my ZHA instance with no problems. Reports are available immediately. It actually does exactly what I was hoping for. The alarm horn is easy to hear even when it's hidden under my vanity. My only downside for this unit is that the port that the water has to plug into for it to

Too many false alarms

When we bought the dual sensor bundled with the hub, one sensor was placed in our office bathroom and the other was placed next to the drain pump hole, both less than 50 feet from the hub. routers. Downloading/installing the app was easy, although a bit confusing at first. Then link your app account with Alexa and create a procedure for each sensor to give an echo alarm when a sensor detects a leak.1. The fuel pump sensor kept going off. Had to move hub within 40ft to work.2. The sensor in the…
