I like this meter

I like this meter so far. I've tried some of its features and they seem to work fine. I was expecting it to be a bit vulgar given its flashy looks, but it didn't come across at all. And the actual TDR measurement works well. I tested it on some famous cables and it was very accurate. Disappointed

I bought this item purely based on reviews and had really high hopes that it would be a good tool. Before receiving this device, I never had the opportunity to see it in person before purchasing it. Based on my first hour of ownership, this will be the first and last Triplet product I will purchase. For the price of the device, I expected better workmanship from the tester. The battery cover of the device that was sent to me could not be closed completely, as it turned out that one of the…

Pros
  • Great product
Cons
  • Something different

After using this tester it is one of the most annoying. The main application can be testing network cables. Unlike most testers, it will show an error if the cable is good, typically on pairs 1 and 2 on long cables over 100 feet. It includes a tester and a remote control to test the cable, the rest is just the cable number. The tester only displays an error without specifying which side of the cable is poorly or not fully connected. 8 test consoles do not fit in the patch panel or 4 or 6 wall…
