TYC 01-05 Toyota RAV-4/00-05 Toyota ECHO Cabin Air Filter (800017P) Review

Fits my 2004 Scion xB! I went years without it and recently remembered I didn't have a cabin air filter so I found it online. Glove box removed and filter reinstalled. Instructions were also included with the kit. Installs in about 1 minute. I'm not sure I'll notice a difference but thought I'd step in and say it fits!

Perfect fit, you save a lot compared to the dealer. The Scion xB does NOT come with a cabin filter but there is room for one, just like in my Corolla and Ran 4. Lower the glove box to the side, no tools required and there is a white plastic latch in the housing for this filter fits perfectly. Depending on how much junk you have in your glove box, let's assume it's empty, it might take about a minute to install. The hardest part is getting the glove box free so it doesn't get in the way.

The filter arrived very quickly (Go Revain Prime!) and very well packaged. To my surprise, my car (2006 Scion tC) didn't come with a cabin air filter and nobody ever told me I didn't have one! To change the filter, open the glove box and you will see a loop on the right holding it.2.
