Does not work with MAVlink protocol

Attempted to pair this with an RFD900 radio for use with a UAV ground control station. GCS complains about unknown packages. Both Mission Planner and MAVproxy never receive a heartbeat to initiate communication. The web interface sucks and has limited functionality. For the price, you're better off just getting a Raspberry PI and running your own. Or you can spend your Saturday afternoon trying to get it to work.

Pros
  • Server with two serial ports: CPU: Cortex-M4 120MHz, serial RS485 and RS232 to Ethernet server, 2 serial ports: 1 port - RS232, 1 port - RS485, 1 Ethernet RJ45 port. Support RS232 and RS485 working at the same time.
Cons
  • Off Mode

Timely delivery, good quality, Item

The product was received ahead of time by express mail (not by courier) (good surprises happen!), The packaging is very good, it comes with a 5V / 1A power adapter and a RS232 cable. Entered the device with no problems, very easy to use interface in the software setup. The product was sent via expedited shipping (not courier) and arrived ahead of schedule, always a pleasure! Only 1 critical review, there is no information at all in the package on where to get documents, manuals and a software…

Pros
  • Speed: 10/100Mbps, Mdi/Mdix Cross Direct Automatic Switching, Transmission rate: 232£º600Bps ~ 230. 4Kbps£¬Rs-485£º600Bps ~ 1Mbps; Electromagnetic separation 1.5 kV, housing insulation; Antistatic 2kV, lightning protection.
Cons
  • There are some nuances

Ethernet to RS485 Converter Not Working

I had a lot of trouble getting it to work. I've tried using the Ethernet to RS485 conversion function that promises this, but it doesn't work if your end terminals aren't PCs. In addition, when they work, it happens for a short time, and then stops. Even customer support didn't understand why our setup (1 as a TCP server and the other as a TCP client) wasn't working. In the end I returned it and bought an expensive product to achieve my goal.

Pros
  • Package Contents: 1 Dual Serial Port Server, 1 5V 1A Power Adapter, 1 Female to Female Serial Cable.
Cons
  • I won't say anything

Works with Avigilon/HID Vertex Controllers

Two of these were used to extend the 485 bus from an Avigilon V1000 Embedder Controller which does not normally support V2000 2 door Ethernet controllers. I installed a point to point bridge to a building across the street. 250mb connection. Then I used a V100 485 inch door controller. After setting up the host and client, I set the correct baud rate at which they are connected. My access card swipes and opening hours are fast. A good product. They come with a fixed IP address of 192.168.0.6 or
