This comes in handy in a bathroom on wheels if you want to close it before getting out of a hot shower. This creates some condensation on the ceiling so you'll have to open it just after you get out of the shower, but it's easy to use. Feels sturdy enough for easy use. Fits standard size RV vents. Suitable for the existing holes in the ceiling.

The product is well made but one star rating is because it only gives you 2 sizes, 5 inch ID and 7/8 collar. Maybe it's my fault, but I took 5 inches - that's the size of the hole. The actual outside diameter of the collar is 5 13/16. Collar ID 5 9/16. I'm not sure where 5 inches is. I should have looked at the reviews. Someone pointed this out. I had to order different ones to fit my 5" open because I didn't want to risk cutting a hole on the 6" with the hole saw and nothing to guide the pilot

I bought these to replace the non-damping vents in my 21 Grand Design Imagine. The listing says they are 5" inside diameter and I wish I had read the other reviews because they are clearly 5 1/2" and will not fit in my camper without cutting big holes in my ceiling ( something that's not even in the realm of possibility).
