The main structure broke on first use.

Received today. After the leaves and suckers were cut off, the main part of the cut broke in two. I didn't even notice it until it fell apart in my hands. Now I have to go to UPS to get a refund that doesn't include the cost of gas. but I will do it on principle. It's hard to believe that something could have been done so badly. Just poor quality plastic - cheaper than the dollar store. I find this to be the first Vivosun product to disappoint. Some of their other products have been…

Cheap but good quality

I almost canceled my order after reading some bad reviews. But fortunately I don't have that. I ordered 2 packs and it was absurdly cheap so I was concerned. But these cool trimmers are well made and sharp like everyone else. I trimmed a pound of cannabis bud and these little secateurs worked amazing, better than my Fiskars. I have a successful home business, cannabis garden and need reliable tools. to help me manage my product and I found it in this trimmer from Vivosun. Take some, you'll like

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Hard to say

Man they are very sharp and worth what I paid for them. My husband had no luck with other cutters. And when I bought these we thought they would stop working after a few uses, but we were 100% wrong. They're still strong, won't fade or stick. And they are small so that we can get to the small parts of the plants. So yes I would and will buy more from this company and if I could give more than 10 stars I would.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • No automatic

Good. Spicy. Cozy.

They're pretty good. Clearly copies Fiskars design but works quite well. I had another set before (link below, it's long!) and they cut really well, but the lock can't be used by hand. You have no problem. But both need a blade guard. Spray with WD40 or something similar, let it take effect, wipe off, done. (Frankly, all garden shears will benefit from this.) I carry them in my side pocket when I'm in the garden or greenhouse. I find myself pulling them out and using them quite a bit. LJ…

Very sharp, narrow blades. Good scissors.

Very good for trimming and fine trimming. The blades are slightly longer than Fiskars and the tip is slightly narrower. The spring is a bit stronger than I would like, so you have to keep some tension on the handles to keep the blades from opening wide, which tires my hand after a while. Other people might like it a lot, but for the tiny thin stems that I cut, I just open them up a little. A reviewer mentioned a spring shortening that I might check. They are very sharp and cut cleanly and…

These machines rule!

You are perfect! I've had them for over a week and have been using them almost every day. They penetrate directly into tiny or narrow places and immediately cut stems. They are great for trimming or trimming flowers including roses, petunias, pansies, pink carnations, periwinkles, coreopsis, you name it! My mint, oregano, and rosemary herbs tried to flower, and I immediately cut off the tops of them—they burst faster than ever. They really make pruning flowers and plants fun because it's so…
