Toothbrush charger died after 2.5 years

So disappointed with the quality. After 2 years (coincidentally end of warranty) the toothbrush charger started to fail. It stops working on the second or third cycle. I emailed the company and asked them to fix or replace the unit hoping they would provide some sort of service as the warranty had just expired. The agent said no and I was directed to a link to purchase a new one (oh, $5 off in the mail!, no thanks). I lasted another 4 months as I also invested in replacement brushes but every…

Bad product, don't buy!

I don't often write product reviews. But for that I have to share my sad experience with potential buyers. I bought a set in June 2016, didn't use it much as I've been away from home a lot. The pump stopped working after three months. Water Pik Inc replaced it with a new set (still under warranty). With a new set of batteries for the electric brush, it only lasted two days (I take it with me when I travel, use the brush twice a day). According to the instructions, the batteries should last a…

Replace the battery yourself!

I've been using this product for about 2 years and haven't had any annoying problems with the product itself. The hydraulic cleaner works great, as does the toothbrush. After 2 years of use, however, the battery no longer held a charge. I thought ok just change the battery and it will work again. I checked the owner's manual and it clearly states that there is no replacement battery for the toothbrush and that once it runs out of charge the entire toothbrush unit will need to be replaced…

The benefits are not sustainable. Have bought two so far.

New review: I have had two of these brushes before and expected batteries to be available from either the manufacturer or an aftermarket source. It's useless if you can't buy replacement parts or the toothbrush is a $60 (retail) or $100 (factory) replacement. I suppose if I just buy another one I can expect to buy another one in about a year, apparently the batteries aren't getting any better. Funny thing. I had a competitor product that lasted over 10 years, used old battery technology and…

Some great features; some not so much.

I've been using this for about a month and have noticed some very positive things and some not so much. Since it has both a sonic toothbrush and a rinsing device, and they are separate in every way, I will address them individually. The toothbrush is durable and easy to use, with two "speeds" or vibration levels. The low speed is VERY slow and only suitable for very sensitive gums. It would be better if it was a pulse setting for higher speed. The high speed setting is aggressive and really…

Cons
  • Not sure

When I started having problems with my teeth, I was disappointed because I had brushed my teeth and brushed my teeth daily. However, I knew I had to do something fast to help my gums and teeth grow stronger. WHAT IS THE WATERPIK COMPLETE CARE SYSTEM FOR? (During my research I found that I was having a hard time understanding how this system would work. I'm writing this review for people with a similar mindset.) planning to install the device. The footprint resembles a size 5 women's shoe. It…
