Smaller sizes seem to be better made! Sturdy

This is a fantastic kayak dry bag. Grab one for essentials and first aid and a second for storing fly boxes, a thermometer or a cell phone.

Pros
  • Nicely packaged
Cons
  • Could have chosen a newer model

You can/should do better

I have a couple of dry bags, but I bought this one because I wanted it to go with a matching cooling insert. The pouch is too short compared to the cooling insert, so the lid cannot be folded three times as it was necessary to seal the desiccant pouch. Also, air will NOT be compressed when you use the liner as it will block the vents. Even without the insert it doesn't air well compared to other brands I have. Very disappointing.

Very Well Designed Rafting/Kayaking Dry Bag

Wilderness Systems makes some of the best kayaks and this dry bag shows attention to detail, making it far more useful for kayaking and other outdoor activities. Water sports. The bright orange strap works no matter how many things you have in your bag, with a loop that slides up or down so you can always sling your dry sack over your shoulder, making sure you have two hands free to carry your Kayak to reach / reach. Loops make it easy to attach to harnesses or kayak straps. Thanks to the oval…

Light and Dry

This isn't the smallest stuff sack you can find. exists without additional No valve, no D-rings, simpler connector design. It's also a little thicker. But. For getting the job done and ease of use, it's hard to beat. The one-way valve is a potential point of failure, but it's certainly handy to have. The valve makes a big difference in closing/folding speed and efficiency. Remember that you cannot overfill these bags or they will lose their water resistance. You need a minimum number of reels…

Ideal for camping or boating.

I really like the XPEL Wilderness Systems waterproof stuff sack with flap and shoulder straps that converts into a cooler. She is very easy to deal with. Nothing goes through this tough bag. In order to pierce this sac, a very sharp, deliberate cut had to be made. It's very easy to use. Just fill your bag with the things you want to keep dry. I have a sleeping bag for illustration. The valve only works in one direction (exhaust) so simply push down to remove excess air, fold the top over and…

average weight. Well done. Difficult.

I like the weight of the fabric (and the resulting bag). Packsacks are available in different weights. I would describe the XPEL Dry Bag as a medium weight bag. I personally like lightweight bags for many things. but not lightweight dry bags, which are too easily punctured and more prone to leakage through the rolled top, at least when no additional sealing mechanism is used. XPEL offers a good balance of strength and weight, which is almost right. All seams are wide and taped. Attachment…
