Before I installed Wingman I did a channel scan and got 27 channels. Channels 1-14 were ok, 15 (ABC) was terrible. The signal level was 36 for channel 5 (CBS). After I put the slave on and did a scan, the first channels 1-14 were good, the signal strength was 38 for channel 5 (CBS). Significant improvement has occurred in channels 15 and above. For less than $30 I was willing to try this to help add TV channels to an RV. The installation took literally 2 minutes. 3 plastic rivets were required to connect. I really hope the wind doesn't blow it away so easily. I'm not very good at how this thing works. Obviously this is something like a funnel for television waves. I sat in my driveway and edited all 14 channels that I could easily pick up with my regular Winegard antenna and they were basically all in the 71-74% range according to my TV on wheels. Before installing the wing, I raised the RV's antenna and aligned it to the best TV broadcast source in our landscape using an online digital TV reception map. I then scanned the channels on the TV, which revealed 34 channels with different reception strengths. I wrote down the channel numbers and their approximate signal strength. Then I installed Wing.
