Description of Yikai Fiberglass Roving 164Feet Repair

It is compatible with epoxy, vinyl ester, and polyester resin systems. RECOMMENDED FOR EPOXY RESIN. Superior strength to Woven Cloth. Consumes less Resin and "Wets-Out" with little effort. May be rolled and folded. This does NOT harm the product. Folding is common in production.

Better suited to a scantily clad supermodel

Fragile, thin thing better suited to a scantily clad supermodel than fixing a salmon-colored fiberglass troll. Very light and cheap. Falling apart with the slightest and careful use.

Pros
  • Fiberglass
Cons
  • Something else

Rough edges

Not a bad fabric for rough work but it doesn't take resin very well and the edges are very hard, I think that's also why it doesn't take resin well. All in all it does the job for the money. This works well for stiffening flat inventory. Just don't try to use it on high contour surfaces.

Pros
  • Raw material
Cons
  • Piggy bank Price

Good value for money, small fiberglass wire.

Its adhesion is as good as epoxy, but it has good strength like other fiberglass. It comes in a long roll and it's quite a thin roll. I would read the description to better understand the dimensions and make sure it is what you need for your project. There are some loose threads on the edges of the roll that stretch out quite a bit, but that's not a big issue for me.

Pros
  • Industry and Science
Cons
  • Can't remember
